Military notes for Pfc. William F. SAMOLINE
William F. Samoline entered military service on 8 Apr 1941. He was stationed at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, Fort Leonard Weed, Missouri and Key West, Florida. He went overseas in Dec 1943, and was initially stationed in Northern Ireland. He went into action 4 July 1944 with the 8th Infantry Division and was killed near Rennes, France on 5 Sep 1944.265
