Bill worked at Ralbovsky’s Bakery, Middle Street, Gloversville during high school and from 1946 until it closed. He also worked as a motion picture operator at the Glove Theatre and the Hippodrome Theater, Gloversville, NY.949

He worked for Glove Cities Dairy, Glen-Mohawk Milk Association, Fultonville, New York for 30 years, MedCo Milk Company and Skiff’s Dairy in Gloversville. Later he worked for Del Negro Pharmacy, Gloversville, NY which was later purchased by his daughter and son-in-law.949

1980:

Bill lives at 101 Pearl St., Johnstown, Fulton Cnty, New York in 1980.951

2002:
Bill loves to bake. After his wife dies, he bakes several varieties of Christmas cookies, many of Slovak origin, and delivers them as gifts to relatives and friends. He brings them to Annamarie Reed (his cousin) for many years and even delivers a box of cookies he had baked for her to the family at her funeral wake (Dec 2002). It is his last year of baking Christmas cookies, as he was very ill and died the next Christmas (2003). 2

Bill inlisted and served in the South Pacific during World War II. He participated in the Okinawa Campaign. He was honorably discharged in 1946.949
