239 1913:Potap Grinkowich is Potajny Grinkewitz or Grinkevich who immigrated to the United States from Minsk (Rytzawitzy), Russia (now Belarus 2018) at age 22. Potajny Grinkewitz arrived on 5 or 6 May 1913 on the ship California. According to his petition for citizenship, his last foreign residence was Minsk, Russia and he emigrated from Libau, Russia. The ship’s manifest listed his port of departure as Glasgow. He was single. He was a farm laborer and his father was Efrim (Efim) Grinkewitz from Rytzawitzy g. Minsk.

He is described as having brown eyes, white hair (slightly bald), a ruddy complexion, and a scar on his upper lip.
2391955:Potap’s address at the time of his death is still 120 First Street. His death certificate states that he resided at this address for 40 years. He was a citizen of the United States at the time of his death. He died "on street" and the cause of his death is listed as "coronary due to arteriosclerosis" . He was pronounced dead at a hospital on 202 W. 52 St., New York, NY. According to his death certificate he died at age 64.
