As of 15 Oct 1850, Henry (age 53) and Catharine (age 52) Countryman lived in the Town of Ephratah, Fulton Cnty, New York with Harry or Harvey (age 30), Joel (age 18), Andrew (age 14) and Samuel (age 2). Henry ws a blacksmith and Harry (Harvey) farmed.441

1875:
As of 1 Jun 1875, Andrew and his wife, Margaret lived with their daughter, Mary (age 13) and four sons (Elsworth age 12, Leonard M. age 10, John H. age 7 and Clark A. age 3) outside of Gloversville, in the Town of Johnstown, Fulton Cnty, NY. Andrew owned his frame home and land.465

1880:
As of 14 Jun 1880, Andrew (age 45) and his wife, Margaret (age 41) still lived with their daughter Mary (age 19) and four sons (Elsworth age 17, Leonard age 15, John N. age 13 and Clark A. age 7) in the Town of Johnstown, Fulton Cnty, NY. Andrew and Ellsworth were both laborers467

1900:
As of 30 Jun 1900, Andrew (age 64) and his wife Margaret (age 62) lived with their son Elsworth (age 37). Andrew and Margaret held a mortgage on a farm in the Town of Johnstown, Fulton Cnty, New York. Andrew was a farmer and Ellsworth was a day laborer who was not employed for three months of the year (farming?)468
