Jack died in a fire at his home, the same home in which his father also died in a fire.984The home was destroyed this time and never rebuilt, although the barn still stands as of 2006.This home was Jack’s boyhood home. Jack was living there with his oldest son, John (also hurt in the fire), as he was divorced from his wife, Judy, and his mother, Eliza, had remarried and moved.2
