Ira Rankie of Cranesville, New York married Lena Wooster of Teller’s Station in Amsterdam, New York. Rev. Dr. H. H. Murdock, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church of Amsterdam officiated. Eugene Rankie, Ira’s brother and Caroline Wooster, Lena’s sister attended at the wedding. They enjoyed a wedding trip to New York City and sites in New Jersey. The couple lived in Cranesville, New York after the wedding, as Ira was employed with his brothers at Rankie Bros. ice firm.
