Daughters Rosina (age 15) and Edna (age 14) were earning a living sewing gloves. Sons Anderson (age 11) and William (age 10) were attending school. Sons Burton (age 6) and Archibald (age 5) were too young to attend school and daughter Lottie (age 11 months) was an infant. Amaziah was a day laborer and rented his home.209
